Concreter Labourer

Your new company
You will be working within the Gold Coast City Council Construction crew on a temporary basis through Hays Recruitment.

If deemed the suitable candidate you will be subject to an alcohol and drug screen prior to commencement.

Your new role
Based within City Infrastructure – Construction, you will be responsible for setting up, boxing, screeding and finishing concrete for council footpaths, bus bays and ramps. kerb and channel and finishing experience is essential. In addition to that your role will include;

• Assisting team with site clean up
• Heavy lifting of bollards etc.
• Digging
• Shovelling
• Raking
• Trowelling
• Pouring concrete
• Patch and repair cracked footpaths

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will come from a strong concreting background and be available for an immediate start, along with the following:

• White Construction Card
• Concreting experience
• MR Licence preferred but not essential
• An up to date CV detailing your experience within the relevant field
• Two references from your two most recent employers
