Backhoe Operator/Labourer

Your new company
You will be working with the City of Gold Coast Council Waste & Recycling team via Hays Specialist Recruitment.

Your new role
You will be working within the Waste & Recycling team predominantly performing basic labouring and assisting with customer enquiries Your duties will include but will not be limited to;

• General labouring
• Litter pick up
• Operating backhoe/front end loader machines
• Assisting with customer enquiries

What you’ll need to succeed
You will have extensive customer service experience as well as the ability to perform labouring tasks. You will hold a high respect for safety standards and quality assured works. You will be able to provide an up to date CV detailing your experience in the industry along with two recent references to back you up. Mandatory requirements for this role are listed below:

• LB – Backhoe, LL - Loader ticket and labouring experience
• Construction White Card
• C-class drivers licence
• Ability to work hours from 6am - 5pm (Monday - Sunday)
• Ability to work across multiple depots as required
