Applications Engineer

Your new role

• Complete technical reviews of specific applications to allow the optimal selection of products and services.
• Perform selection of materials compatible with the operating conditions of specific applications.
• Prepare, source, assess and submit and technical proposals for products and services to meet the requirements of the Client Service Team and Customer Service Unit.
• Generate drafting requests to communicate the technical, design documentation and delivery requirements to the International Support Centre.
• Research equipment and product history to determine experience, geometric requirements, equipment and product designs and configurations.
  Support manufacturing and purchasing inquiries and concession requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree level qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in a mechanical engineering industry preferred
• Capable of communicating complex engineering issues, problems and solutions to others with varying levels of comprehension/technical skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• A good knowledge and experience working with rotating equipment.
