POLICE have released the name of the young Dubbo man tragically killed in a street race on Saturday night as 20-year-old William Perrott.

Tributes have flowed onto the Facebook page of Mr Perrott as friends learned of his death.
Mr Perrott died on the scene of the fatal incident after having lost control of his white Holden Statesman and crashed into a tree on Brisbane Street.

Below, friends posted messages of grief, fond memories and condolences to the young man’s family.
Dozens of posts on the social media site painted the picture of a happy young man, with a great sense of humour, who was always quick to help and would be greatly missed.
Many who posted on the Facebook page were finding it hard to come to terms with the young man’s death.
Sarah Kenyon posted on Mr Perrott’s wall asking what had happened to her friend.
“Can someone please tell me what’s happened? I don’t want to believe it until I know.”
Bella Sherlock posted on the Facebook wall how she had thought of Mr Perrott as a brother who had many “jokes and a cheeky smile”.
“I will never forget, you will always be in my heart,” she wrote.
Trudy Taylor described Mr Perrott as “quite the larrikin, always happy and looking for adventure” in a post on his Facebook page.
“Too easy” will be imbedded in my memory of you forever. You tried so hard at all you did and brought a smile to everyone’s face,” she wrote.
“I know you went living life to the fullest, you wouldn’t have had it any other way.”
Angela Edwards posted she was a “most privileged teacher in the world when they placed you in my English class”.
“You were always happy to help others, smile and tell a joke.”
Another of Mr Perrott’s teachers, David Janetzki, described him in a post as “often late, always polite and gently spoken”.
“You would do anything for anyone and always have a go. It was a pleasure to teach you.”
Gabbie Hubbard called Mr Perrott a “real inspiration” in a post on his Facebook page.
“I haven’t known you for long but you were a real friend. You were a real blessing,” she wrote.
“Not a heart that knew you won’t be hurting!”
