Club treasurer Keith Stewart said the show, which has been running since 1983, was a great success.
“It was just marvellous,” he said.
“Everyone was happy to come to Dubbo and they all said it was a really well run show with great prizes.”
Mr Stewart said the facilities at the showground had also come in for high praise with many of the exhibitors happy with the accommodation provided for their feathered friends.
About 65 exhibitors and 740 birds of all breeds, shapes and sizes converged on Dubbo from across the State to take part.
Fowl fanciers young and old pampered and prepped their poultry in the hopes of landing one of the Best in Breed awards.
Mr Stewart said one couple in particular had been very successful on the day.
“Kevin and Sherrie Turner went really well with their Indian Game bird, they won all the Indian game prizes,” he said.
