Others asked if Wild Animal Encounters’ Ben Britton could bring its girlfriend Baby - which was almost double Bailey’s size - next time he visited.
Mr Britton, often seen on WIN TV’s Mornings With Kerri-Anne, popped into the school with friends yesterday, some fury and some scaly.
At the school as part of National Science Week, the display of crocodiles, alligators, monkeys and snakes attracted many ‘oohs’ and ‘ahs’.
Audience participation weeded out the curious kids from the plain old creeped out.
A 30kg white, yellow and pink python that’s made appearances on Australia’s Next Top Model and a few movies had a few kids slithering in their seats.
Five were selected to help hold the reptile, two who changed their mind after it was heaved out of its box, and only one other put their hand up to step in for them.
But it was IJ the monkey who brought out the smiles and cheekiness in the crowd.
He’s become a little bit “precious” though.
He travels in his own hammock and sips water from a Mt Franklin bottle cap lid like he’s sipping wine.
“He thinks he’s the star of the show,” Mr Britton said.
And he was a hit among the kids.
“He was really funny,” one said. “He kept stealing the keys from the man’s pocket.”
