PRDnationwide delivered the positive report as it expanded, opening its Dubbo office yesterday. Dubbo realtors Peter and Lana Whalan own the new office and expect growth and job creation.
The couple previously traded as Delroy Park Real Estate and has lived in the Dubbo district for more than 20 years. Mr Whalan said the outlook for the region was positive with expected population growth to continue.
“We are witnessing a real return in confidence,” he said.
“This, combined with steady growth due to mining operations, breaking drought and a growing industry base, point to an uplift across the market.”
PRDnationwide business consultant Darren Richards said Dubbo was located at the crossroads of regional NSW and was a major growth area.
“Combining large commercial and industrial precincts and many new residential land projects, the Dubbo market is vibrant and well balanced,” he said.
The office is located at Minore Road and employs six staff with the sales team expected to grow in coming months.
To accommodate the growth a second office will open in coming weeks.
