The Dubbo Rhinos might not have troubled the scoreboard attendant but CSU more than made up for it in their 110-0 Blowes menswear Cup victory at University Oval on Saturday.

The scorer barely had a chance to sit down and get comfortable, with the students running in 18 tries and for the final 10 minutes he was forced to hold the third number in the CSU column because there was no provision for a triple-figure score.
While the homeside players were delighted with their efforts, there was no positives for the Rhinos to come out of the game.
They were on the back foot for most of the game and missed more tackles than they made as CSU ran riot.
Students coach Morgan Grivas said he was ecstatic with the big scoreline and said he was pleased that his side had bounced back from their 31-12 loss to Narromine seven days earlier.
“It was definitely an improvement on last weekend in terms of our attitude with the ball and our discipline was much improved,” he said.
“It’s still going to take a bit of time early in the season for us to adapt to the new rules like everyone and still learning with that cost us a little bit but you have to be happy with a big win like that.”
It took just minutes for CSU to get on the scoreboard with Lachlan Blunt getting over for what would be the first of a hat-trick of tries.
Dubbo showed just how fragile they were when Tom Clyburn raced away to score his team’s second try and they went on to pile on another six tries before half-time to lead 52-0.
There was no respite for the Rhinos in the second half with Charlie Nordfeldt diving over after just five minutes and another four tries went on by the end of the first hour to have CSU sitting at 81-0.
Rhinos had a rare opportunity 20 metres out from the students’ line and when they received a penalty, they opted for the kick at goal.
However Zach Lewis’ shot at goal summed up the day for Rhinos as it hit the post and bounced back in field.
They got the ball back and even got another penalty but took the tap and nothing eventuated from it.
That was just a minor distraction before the scoring resumed for CSU with Sam Coote finding space down the left hand touch line and racing away to score their 14th try.
He gave his brother Matt a break from the kicking and added the extras to extend the lead to 88-0.
Matt Coote didn’t want to miss out though and scored a five pointer of his own which he converted to bring the side up to the edge of triple figures.
