Kicking off on Monday are workshops at Western Plains Cultural Centre, Macquarie Regional Library and the PCYC, and special zoo adventures at Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
For those who are looking to get active these school holidays the PCYC is offering great sport activities from indoor soccer, basketball, netball, archery and football to craft activities, board games and movies.
The activities are planned for Monday to Friday each week from 9am to 4pm at a cost of $20 a day.
All children taking part in activities will have to become a member of the PCYC for $5.50 per child.
Places for workshops at the WPCC are filling fast and parents are encouraged to contact the centre to inquire about session times and availability.
Included in their school holiday programs are a number of art and craft workshops. To contact the WPCC call 6801 4444.
For those looking for educational fun the Macquarie Regional Library is for you with internet workshops, dress up parties and writing workshops all part of the program.

If none of the above tickles your fancy then the zoo has an adventure for you.
Throughout the holidays staff will be running educational adventures for kids aged 5-12.
Each session offers a different animal theme, which includes a behind-the-scenes experience, hands-on animal encounters, arts and crafts, educational activities and games.
The adventures will begin at 9.30am and finish at 3.30pm except the night time session which is 3pm-9pm.
The cost per day is $55 and includes entry to the zoo, morning tea and activities. Bookings are essential, contact the zoo for more information 6881 1433.
