Mr O’Keeffe will host the ball to be held at the Namoi Cotton Gin in Trangie on September 19.
President of the Macquarie Matrons, Skye Rush, said Kerry’s combination of hilarious sporting yarns and inspirational messages make him the perfect choice for MC.
“Kerry has the ability to combine the fun and entertainment of the evening with the serious side of helping to raise money for Angel Flight Australia,” she said.
Fans of Channel 9’s The Farmer Wants a Wife series are sure to be pleased with show host Natalie Gruzlewski also attending the event.
“There will be a few other surprise celebrity guests that we don’t want to reveal yet,” Ms Rush said.
The evening will feature a sophisticated electronic silent auction, with a selected few key items to be auctioned ‘live’ on the night.
Some auction highlights will include a Nissan Tiida donated by Western Plains Automotive, a John Deere Lawnmower donated by Chesterfield and some fantastic weekend getaways including accommodation and live shows.
Raffle tickets will also be sold over the next few months for a chance to win more prizes.
The major prize is a trip for 2 to Honolulu including airfares and accommodation donated by Harvey World Travel, Hawaiian Airlines and Harveys Choice Holidays.
Second prize is a 5 burner stainless steel barbecue courtesy of Brennan’s Mitre 10 Home and Trade Dubbo and 3rd prize is a handmade patchwork quilt from Cotton Country Quilters.
