After spending 42 days in the Big Brother house, Dubbo housemate Renee Black was evicted from the series on Sunday night.

Renee’s exit followed fellow Dubbo housemate Dixie Crawford’s eviction last week.

During an interview with the Daily Liberal yesterday, Renee said she had only managed to catch about two hours of shut-eye after leaving the house, facing a gruelling schedule of interviews and meetings.

“It has been hectic,” Renee said.

“It has been really rushed,” she added.

Renee will return back home to Dubbo this coming Monday and she says she doesn’t know what to expect when she gets home.

“I don’t know whether I will get egged or hugged,” she said.

During her time in the house Renee said the housemates all expressed interest in coming to Dubbo’s Derby Day race meet.

“They’re all coming,” Renee said.

“Well all the ones me and Dixie will still be talking to when they get out anyway.”

Renee said she is grateful for her Big Brother experience.

“I had a good run with winning my New York City trip and Friday night games,” Renee said.

“It definitely made me realise that I was a leech off my mum and dad.

“My mum’s awesome and I don’t ever give her credit,” she said.

Renee said the one thing she has enjoyed most since being on the outside was having a “naked shower”.

The rugby-loving, abattoir worker left a rather memorable last impression in the house, after what appeared to be a fiery farewell message to her housemates.

“They made me look really mean, like I hated Nobbi or something,” Renee said.

“It wasn’t supposed to be mean or slack it was just really rushed,” she said.

Renee left fellow housemate Brigitte riled up when she chose her to be the only original housemate not to receive a message from her family.

“I hate you Renee, I hope you trip over your Tim Tams and break your leg,” Brigitte said to Big Brother after hearing of Renee’s hand grenade.

Renee said she looks forward to kicking her footy when she gets home.
