Nyngan, who have spent more time this season behind their own goalposts rather than crossing underneath them, scored first and led at their home ground before the Jets hit back to level at 6-all.
The two teams then went into the break locked at 12-all after centre Shannon Black and second rower Simon Ward scored four-pointers for the Tigers, and Daniel Riley kicked two goals.
But in the second half Narromine quickly clicked into gear and flew away from Nyngan, finishing 18-point winners after scoring five tries to two.
Fullback Chris Hunt, winger Simon Hartas, half Mick Clarke, second rower Steve Lake and centre Damian Day - who along with Nyngan’s Shane Smith also spent 10 minutes in the sin bin - scored for the visitors.
Narromine are on 20 competition points, four behind the Magpies who enjoyed the bye this weekend.
The Manildra Rhinos were also pressed until half-time in their match against the Cobar Roosters at Tom Knight Oval, the home team just six behind at the break.
But three tries to flying winger Sao Vito helped the Rhinos extend their 14-8 lead at the break to a 22-point winning margin by the final whistle, 40-18 the final score.
The result has the Rhinos in fourth position on percentages on the Group 11 rugby league ladder, equal with Narromine (second) and CYMS (third) on 20 points.
