The Young Farmer Business Program (YFBP) is set to kick off group coaching at Lazy River Estate on Wednesday 31 July 31 and Thursday August 1.
YFBP is running a six-month coaching program with The Agribusiness Development Institute (ABDI) to help young farmers and fishers to develop, grow and lead their business to wherever they wish to take it.
Participants will learn more about running their business, financials, setting goals and their own personal growth, development and motivation.
The program is open to farmers and fishers aged 18-35 years old, have an active ABN and their ABN is registered in NSW.
Participants who join the program will receive expert advice from ABDI coaches, two two-day workshops at the start and end of the program, access to an online community of farmers and fishers to share knowledge and nut out business questions, and more.
Cost is $499 per person with early bird rates $399 per person ($199 for 2nd person in the same business), with limited spots available.
Travel and accommodation subsidies are available for people who live in remote areas.
The YFBP is a four-year initiative funded by the NSW government.
