Matt Hansen Real Estate donated $3000 on Tuesday for an Automated External Defibrillator. The defibrillator, which is the 11th to be installed, will be available at Kevin Hockey Solicitors.
Mr Hansen said the donation was inspired by his grandmother.
“She suffered a heart attack. She’s not with us anymore but she would be very proud knowing we were doing something that could save someone in a similar situation,” he said.
Dubbo Red Cross first aid trainer George Chapman said he was still hoping for seven more defibrillators to be donated which would be installed along Macquarie Street. The units need to be no more than two minutes apart.
