Chloe Lindsay and Ahrazana Rose were among the two students who performed in the Nursery Rhymes in Costume section at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre.
Chloe, who performed Hickory Dickory Dock, said she wasn’t nervous being on the stage. She had done dancing, she said, and was used to being in front of people.
The reason behind her nursery rhyme? “Because it was a short song and not a long song,” Chloe said.
It was the opposite for Ahrazana, she said she liked her nursery rhyme specifically because it was a long one.
For Dakota Wiatkowski, her mermaid costume was all about the glitter.
