A case involving a 55-man from Wellington charged in relation to the alleged abduction and sexual assault of a young girl has been adjourned until next month.

The man faced Magistrate Paul Hayes via audio-visual link in Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday in relation to the matters, which date back to December 9, 2017.
Police will allege that between 12.32pm and 1.40pm that day, the man took the eight-year-old from a location in Wellington before performing multiple sexual acts with her.
He has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of victim under the age of 16, take person with intent to commit serious indictable offence, two counts of procure child under 14 years to produce child abuse material, two counts of produce child abuse material, and sexual intercourse with child under the age of 10 years.
No bail application was made, and Magistrate Hayes ordered that a brief of evidence be completed before adjourning the matters until May 23.
