Group 11 coach Nicholas Wilson not only thinks his forwards can better Group 10 this weekend, he think he’s got the best forward pack in the competition.

The fourth round of the Western Women’s Rugby League Championship sees Group 11 host Group 10 at Parkes’ Pioneer Oval.
Last time the two sides met, in round one, Group 10’s forwards set the platform for a dominant 30-4 victory.
“The size and mobility of the forward pack,” Wilson said about what is key this weekend.

“I know (Group 10 coach) Jordan (Dwyer) rates the forward pack he’s got so we’ll throw down the gauntlet and see if they can come at us like last time. I don’t think they will."
Group 11 heads into the match after wins over the Castlereagh/Barwon side and also Woodbridge Cup but Wilson knows it’s going to take more than just a strong forward pack to beat the red-hot competition favourites.
“Maybe we’re not good enough to beat them yet but we’re going to be a lot more competitive than we were in round one,” he said.
“It’s going to be a really, really tough challenge but it’s at Parkes and hopefully we’ll have a lot of support there.
“We’ve got a few back too so we’ll have about 80 percent of the squad so that means we can rotate players a bit better.”
Former Wallaroo Bec Smyth is one of the big name inclusions after missing last weekend while Litisha Boney also returns.
They further boost a forward pack led by powerhouse Rhianna Sutherland and Cass Toomey.
Sutherland is coming off a hat-trick in last weekend’s win while Toomey is someone who “never lets us down”, according to Wilson.
Kick-off is at 1pm Saturday.
