On Monday, February 26, staff and students at Dubbo South Public School held a Commonwealth Games Day. There were over 650 children representing different Commonwealth countries.

The students participated in activities such as soccer, athletics, tug-a-war, rugby and beach volleyball.
Staff said the day was “a huge success”.
The Opening and Closing ceremonies added to the spirit of the games with lots of cheering and excitement as the torch relay took place.
The winning country of the day was South Africa.
Staff wished to thank ‘Be Skilled Be Fit’ for organising the event.
