Dropping your phone in the toilet, on your face or pocket dialling someone are the top three phone fails Australians do, according to a recent survey.

The results from comparison site finder.com.au surveyed 2,306 respondents and found 40 per cent of have experienced some kind of mobile phone mishap, proving our beloved devices can be a hazard to our health.
More than one in five people respondents (21 per cent) admitted to dropping a phone on their face in the last five years.
With these Aussies doing so at least once since 2013, that represents 2,199 people dropping their phone on their face every evening.
A further 14 per cent have pocket dialed someone they shouldn’t have and 8 per cent admitted that their phone has gone for a dip in the dunny.
The survey also found 3 per cent have damaged their phone while attempting to take a selfie and shockingly 2 per cent have almost been hit by a car because they were too busy looking at their phones.
