Ms Kennen, one of the stall holders at Sunday’s Markets at the Mall, is originally from the UK but now lives in Trangie.

Her fairytales as a child were stories of her dad travelling in Australia, Ms Kennen said, and eventually she had to see the country for herself. Now love has kept her here.

After launching The Romantic Clothing Co at the Lazy River Markets last month, she said she’s been trying to attended every possible event to help build her brand.

“I felt like I was struggling to find really easy to wear pieces for women who were pear shaped or a bit curvier or even skinnier and I thought ‘stuff it, I’ll do it myself’,” Ms Kennen said.

But no matter how big The Romantic Clothing Co might get, Ms Kennan said she had made a rule that nothing she sold would be more than $100. She wanted everyone from a 15-year-old spending their pocket money on clothing to a 60-year-old to be able to feel special, she said.

Ms Kennen said she had been a stylist to some big companies, but now she wanted to help everyone in the Central West look their best.

“I want someone to be able to pick up the phone and say ‘am I going to look like a pudding in this?’” she said.
