Nobody injured or killed in massive fire on Chapmans Road

Police have confirmed there to be no casualties in a blaze that engulfed a home on Chapmans Road on Thursday afternoon.

Almost 20 Rural Fire Service crews and 50 firefighters have been on the scene battling the fire, the cause of which is not known at this point.

It is believed a house on the property, as well as a shed, have been consumed by the blaze.

Traffic diversions are in place at the scene, with police and council workers doing their best to contain a series of onlookers, as well as fire trucks that are leaving and re-entering the scene after refilling with water.
