Their NSW side enjoyed a rest day on Sunday after continuing their undefeated run with wins over Tasmania on Friday and Western Australia on Saturday.
In the first of those wins, Larance (18) – who is representing NSW at the NICC for the first time – Patterson (34) and Jeffrey (16 not out) combined with the bat to help NSW to a score of 7/179.
Only Sydney’s Brendan Smith (61) out-scored Patterson.
Jeffrey then came out firing with the ball, taking 3/6 from his 2.1 overs to help knock Tasmania over for just 48.
On Saturday the Dubbo trio claimed five West Australian wickets; Jeffrey took 3/42, Larance 1/16 and Patterson 1/22.
They helped limit the West Australians to 145 and so dominant was their NSW side that none of them were called on to bat in reply.
The two victories have catapulted NSW nine points clear of their nearest rivals Victoria on the competition ladder.
And while the Dubbo trio have contributed to crushing team performances for their state, they’ve also managed some spectacular individual figures.
Jeffrey leads the competition with 13 wickets from six matches, closely followed by Larance with 12 wickets while Patterson sits not far behind in sixth with nine wickets to his name.
The trio have also contributed with the bat; Patterson sits in tenth place with a total of 103 runs and a strike rate of 202.0 – the competitions highest – while Jeffrey sits in 13th with 78 runs and Larance sits 27th on 50.
NSW will now proceed to Monday’s decider, where the Blues will be red-hot favourites to claim the National Indigenous Cricket title.
Speaking earlier in the week, Jeffrey said NSW aimed to play “the perfect game” every time they took to the field.
“It’s a good group and Brock has fit in really well. Patto has been performing again and everyone can hopefully keep doing that leading into finals.”
