He’s calm, kind and outgoing, which is why I’m feeling confident.
- Karen Williams
Dubbo’s Eli Williams is starting Kindergarten this year at Dubbo South Primary School, after being at Dubbo West Preschool for the past three years.
Mum, Karen said Eli was super excited to be starting Kindy, with teacher Ms Gay.
Some of the things Eli was most looking forward to about starting ‘big school’ was “making new friends and playing with them heaps.”
Eli’s easy-going personality has put his Mum’s nerves at ease.
“He’s calm, kind and outgoing, which is why I’m feeling confident,” she said.
The family have ticked many of the school supplies off their list, with Eli only needing new shoes.
Many other local children are also excited to begin their next big adventure.
Young Polly Hubbard will start at St Mary’s this year.
Polly’s parents Nick and Kristy said there will be a number of Polly’s preschool classmates who are off to St Mary’s together.
“Polly is super excited to start school and is thrilled with her brand new uniform, shoes, bag and pencil case,” her parents said.
“She also says she’s really looking forward to seeing her old friends she went to Preschool with and her new buddy.”
