Russo’s Coffee Bar has taken out the Daily Liberal’s poll for Dubbo’s favourite coffee.

A total of 543 people voted in the online poll, which asked readers to nominate, and then vote for, their favourite place to grab a caffeine hit.
The readers nominated 33 brew-tastic places to get a cuppa, and it’s clear to see from the results that Dubbo boasts more great cafes than you can poke a spoon at.
Russo’s received 20.99 per cent of the votes (114), while Away Cup Cafe came a close second with 104 votes (19.15 per cent).
The two establishments were miles ahead of the pack, with Village Hot Bake voted the third favourite coffee destination with 39 votes (7.18 per cent) closely followed by Black Tambourine with 30 votes (5.52 per cent) and Press with 27 votes (4.97 per cent).
The remaining 47.16 per cent of the votes were divided fairly evenly among the remaining 26 establishments, with 14 of them all gaining between one and 3.5 per cent of the votes.
It wasn’t only locals having their say, with 18 votes coming from outside Australia.
One vote came from Germany for Away Cup Cafe, Short Street Cafe has a fan in Nepal while Tea and Coffee Exchange and Lavish each received a vote from the United Kingdom.
Seven votes came from the United States with fans of Away Cup Cafe in California (two votes), Delaware (one vote) and Virginia (one vote). Lavish received a vote from Oregon, while Russo’s and Short Black Coffee and Sides received a vote each from Virginia.
