Prior to that, the five-year-old Artistic Beauty finished with back-to-back seconds in his first two starts back before running ninth in a Benchmark 80 event at Randwick
The mare from Mudgee is under the top weight of 61kg and will launch from barrier eight with Ryan in the saddle in Sunday’s feature.
Justin Stanley’s Something Borrowed is the lone Dubbo hope in the event, with Ken Dunbar set to take the ride from barrier four.
A cup specialist, Something Borrowed is deep in his preparation with Sunday marking his 15th race this time out.
Wagga trainer Wayne Carroll will make the trip to contest the Cowra Cup with his hope, Heysen, looking for a third straight win.
The eight-year-old has scored victories at Wagga and Albury in his past two starts.
The meeting at Cowra has been scheduled to start earlier due to extreme heat forecast.
The race times for have been pushed forward for an earlier start with the hottest temperatures expected to be later in the day.
Racing NSW has scheduled the final race for 2.55pm with the Cowra Cup at 2.20pm.
The Japan Cowra Cup, the day’s other feature, will run at 11.55am.
Race one will jump at 10.45am.
