The public have just hours left to cast their vote for Mr Gay Pride Australia 2018, with Dubbo’s Nicholas Steepe one of seven finalists.

The 23-year-old is in Melbourne for the culmination of the competition at the Midsumma Carnival.
In Mr Steepe’s message included in the the online announcement of the finalists he said: “I want to be Mr Gay Pride Australia because I believe that I have a universal story to share with others, of identity and resilience.”
The public online voting will be counted towards each finalist’s final score, helping Mr. Gay Pride Australia judges pick the 2018 winner in the highly contested competition.
The voting closes at midday Sunday and the winner will be announced later today.
