The Australian Antarctic Division is looking to recruit more than 150 people for a range of expeditioner roles at its three Antarctic stations and on sub Antarctic Macquarie Island.

Division employee, Dubbo’s Jamie McGaw, is recommending people apply. “I would give it a go if it interests you a little bit or if you have always dreamed of doing it,” he said.

The division is recruiting for a range of roles including chefs, station leaders, tradespeople, engineers, IT and communications operators. “We are committed to enhancing diversity on station and would particularly like to encourage females to apply,” human resources manager Andrew Groom said. Recruitment is open until January 24. Visit www.jobs.antarctica.gov.au.
