The Blues led Western Australia 4-0 at half time in Wednesday morning’s match and went on to run out convincing 6-1 victors.
The result moved NSW well clear at the top of the ladder after three rounds and put them within reach of the goal medal game.
Corcoran, now based and Wollongong, and her NSW side play their fourth round match against the second-placed ACT on Wednesday night.
Heading into that game, the Blues sit five points clear at top with the win over Western Australia following on from a stunning comeback against Victoria on Tuesday night.
NSW, also featuring Orange pair Rachel Divall and Chloe Barrett, as well as Bathurst Sarah Watterson, trailed 3-0 at half time in that match but stormed back to claim a 5-3 victory.
Watterson proved her worth in that win, bagging a double.
The confidence built in that match was clear to see in Wednesday morning’s emphatic result.
Two goals inside 10 minutes put the Blues on their way and then Corcoran got in on the act.
The former Australian Country representative found the back of the net from a penalty corner, and then Watterson struck to put NSW up by four goals.
The Blues controlled the game in the second half to win comfortably.
A win on Wednesday night will guarantee NSW a place in the preliminary final and victory there would put the Blues into the decider.
