The Lake Burrendong Classic, Mumbil Black Wattle Fair, Wellington Arts and Sculpture Festival, and the Wellington Boot have been recommended for funding.
Meanwhile another nine events have been recommended to receive in-kind assistance from council.
In a report on the funds, council’s director economic development and business Natasha Comber said there were 15 applications for round two of the Event Development Fund and the Major Event Sponsor Program.
The 13 approved non-for-profit events, scheduled to be held in 2018, will receive $69,000 in total.
“The events receiving funding will return a combined economic benefit to the local government area in excess of $4 million in 2018,” she said.
