A man accused of the kidnap and sexual assault of a girl at Wellington at the weekend has been refused bail in Dubbo Local Court.

The 55-year-old was not required to appear in the court as multiple charges against him were mentioned on Monday.
Police will allege a tradesman who was working on a house at Wellington persuaded an eight-year-old girl to get into his vehicle about 12.30pm on Saturday.
The man drove from the scene.
The girl was reported missing and police from Orana-Mid Western Police District, with the assistance of the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad, initiated an investigation.
Police will allege the man sexually assaulted the girl before returning her an hour later to where she was taken from.
Officers at the scene, who had been searching for the child, arrested the man and took him to Wellington Police Station.
He was charged with take person intend to commit serious indictable offence and aggravated sexual assault - victim under the age of 16 years.
He was further charged with procure child less than 14 years to produce child abuse material and produce child abuse material.
The accused was refused bail and appeared in court at Dubbo on Sunday where he was remanded to reappear the next day.
There was no release application when the matter was mentioned on Monday and magistrate Greg Grogin formally refused bail.
The man was remanded in custody to reappear in the same court on February 14.
