Nyunggai Warren Mundine will be given a warm welcome at Macquarie Regional Library (MRL) , Dubbo branch, on December 14.
MRL manager John Bayliss said Warren Mundine in Black + White detailed Mr Mundine’s early life in country NSW through to his rise to “the heights of political power” as national president of the Australian Labor Party and advisor to five prime ministers.

“Warren has been on a remarkable journey, from one of 11 children in a poor Catholic family to today where he frequents one of the highest echelons of power and business,” Mr Bayliss said.
“ His memoir offers an insider’s perspective on his time in Parliament and his controversial take on the different views between the Liberal and Labor parties.”
In 2016 Mr Mundine was awarded one of the nation’s highest accolades, an officer of the Order of Australia, for services to Indigenous Australia.
