A message from Executive Principal Stacey Exner.
2017 has been a stellar year for Dubbo College, capped off by national recognition for the achievements of our Indigenous students.
This year 60 Aboriginal students will graduate with a Higher School Certificate which is more than double the amount of students to achieve the same a decade ago, a fact recently extensively reported on by ABC radio and television news.
Outstanding staff and teaching along with unique support programs and commitment by students have helped to close the gap in educational advantage at Dubbo College.
This attainment, coupled with the establishment of our Girls Academy to partner Dubbo South Clontarf Academy, has led to amazing results in and outside the classroom.
Wonderful NAIDOC week celebrations at all campuses and the Reconciliation Walk, along with individual student achievement, has placed Dubbo College in an excellent position to contribute to a positive future for all students and the wider community.

The year 2017 also marked 100 years of public high school education in Dubbo, with centenary celebrations culminating in the Saecularia Centenary Concert at the Dubbo Regional Theatre.
The concert showcased the talents of current and former students of Dubbo, South and Delroy High Schools and Dubbo College.
Dedicated staff are the backbone of any school and we are always proud of our teachers. This year we have seen four members of staff receive special recognition for their achievements.
Dubbo College Deputy Principal Di Baker was recognised as a lead teacher, while Vicki Budden, Susy Yaghjian and Rachel Cody were recognised with Minister for Education awards for Excellence.
To top this off we had two gold Duke of Edinburgh student awards and amazing student leadership stories, coupled with outstanding academic and cultural achievements, which means 2017 goes down in history as one of the very best for Dubbo College.
Dubbo College itself is an outstanding collegiate of three individual school campuses and partnerships with TAFE Western Institute and University of Sydney, University of Newcastle and Charles Sturt University.
The three campuses are:
Dubbo College Delroy Campus: a Years 7 – 10 junior campus.
Dubbo College South Campus: a Years 7 – 10 junior campus.
