The two teams played in round one and Rugby scored an emphatic outright victory, a result which helped them to top spot on the RSL-Whitney Cup ladder, a place they still sit now.
Since then, the Cougars have failed to win a match and remain at the foot of the ladder but Ben Knaggs’ young side has showed glimpses of talent.
Lochie Endacott, another young player, is set to make his debut in this weekend’s one-day fixture, being called in due to the fact all-rounder Ben O’Donnell is unavailable.
Rugby will again be without the injured Jordan Moran and remains top despite having not scored a win in the past three weeks.
All matches were abandoned due to rain last week while Rugby went down to both Macquarie and Newtown prior to that.
Saturday’s one-day match at No. 2 Oval starts at 1pm.
