Impressive apprentice Blaike McDougall will take the ride aboard the gelding, with his 3kg claim meaning Schedule will only have to carry 55.5kg.
Dubbo trainer Michael Lunn will launch a two-pronged attack on the meeting, with Didyahearme expected to line up against Schedule in the Highway, while he will also put two-year-old Lingennic on the float.
The gelding has had two barrier trials, and will make his debut in the $150,000 Golden Gift (1100m).
Meanwhile, Clint Lundholm will be hoping Joey’s Destiny can put a frustrating run of outs behind him when he takes his place in the Central West Trailers Class 3 Handicap (1300m) at Orange on Friday.
The gelding has placed at all three runs this time in, but his chances haven’t been helped after drawing out wide in barrier 12.
Combined with the top weight of 61kg there is a bit against Joey’s Destiny, but he will have the services of leading hoop Greg Ryan.
The Orange meeting will feature eight races, with the first set down for 1.10pm and the last scheduled for 5.25pm.
