It’s easy to see why.

The ACT and South Coast Crew, the other two sides in the Thunder Conference along with the Outlaws and Central West Wranglers, did battle recently and the side from the nation’s capital was utterly dominant.

The Aces rolled the Crew for just 75 and then needed just 37 balls to reach the target.

The Aces head to Orange this weekend and play the Outlaws on Sunday morning before taking on the Wranglers that afternoon.

The Outlaws and Wranglers, the two western rivals, do battle on Saturday night at Wade Park.

Prior to this season, the Aces had not won a Plan B Regional Bash game but now coach Michael Delaney is eyeing off a run to the grand final at the Sydney Cricket Ground on December 10.

"We've got a really balanced group now with experienced guys who have played lot of rep cricket and some really talented young guys, it's a fantastic mix," Delaney told the Canberra Times recently.

"We've put a fair bit of emphasis on making sure we go as far in this competition as possible this year and if we play our best I definitely think we can win it."

The Aces feature Jono Dean, who plays in Canberra but it also contracted to the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League, as well as his brother Blake and also leading ACT cricketers Ethan Bartlett, Matt Condon and Ben Mitchell.
