Promising Dubbo driver Tyler Everingham narrowly avoided flipping his vehicle in crazy scenes during Formula 4 qualifying at the Gold Coast on Friday.

The teenage talent, who had set the fastest lap earlier in the day, was heading threw a the back chicane at the Gold Coast track when he started to lose control of his Zagame Autosport vehicle.
He seemed to regain things after almost sliding sideways but when driving over the rubber his car took off and almost ended up vertical.
His car scraped along it’s exhaust before falling back to the ground, jolting Everingham so much he let go of the steering wheel momentarily.
Everingham finished the qualifying stage in seventh and will be keen on making an impact on Saturday.
The St John’s student is in his second season of Formula 4 and has enjoyed plenty of success as he chases his dream of driving at the highest level.
