The volunteer organising committee have been hard at work organising some amazing entertainment and activities for everyone to enjoy.
Some of the activities to keep the family entertained include, face painting, Zumba with Tracy, flying fox, rugby skills training, combat archery, giant garden games and Tug-O-War.
There will also be performances by local dance schools as well as music by Issac Compton, Sarah Head and Justine Kuhner, not to mention Killing Heidi will be performing!
This year’s theme for Relay is ‘athletics’ so think retro 80s gear with fluro headbands, leotards and tights or your favourite sportswear.
To celebrate the athletics theme, there will also be ‘midnight madness’ where we are encouraging people to walk or run 5km around the track at 12am!
At 7:30pm participants will remember those lost to cancer with a candle-lit HOPE Ceremony where everyone is encouraged to write a message on a Hope bag light up the oval.
The committee encourages everyone within the community to come down to Barden Park and check out a great family friendly event.
The dedicated teams are now seeking the support of the Orana community to continue raising funds for Cancer Council NSW in this fight against cancer.
Online registrations are open until Thursday, October 26, however, if you miss out, you can still register at the event, so don’t miss out.
