The lantern parade is scheduled to begin at 8pm. It will head down Talbragar Street and finish at Victoria Park.
As well as the regular lion, elephant and lioness lanterns, Taronga Western Plains Zoo has bought new lanterns from Sydney to shine at the parade.

More than 80 Zoo staff and volunteers, plus their families, will be marching down the streets of Dubbo.
