Rotary Club of Dubbo Macquarie member and book fair coodinator Peter Bartley reports “we need more room”.
He said the club was deeply grateful to St Brigid’s Parish for allowing the fair to be held in its hall at no charge for many years. “We are really a victim of our own success as we need more room to better display more books than ever before,” Mr Bartley said. The pavilion will also allow for the use of a forklift to move books.
A book fair working bee is scheduled for Thursday, October 26. Books should be left on a pallet at the front of Meals on Wheels at 74 Mountbatten Drive between 9am and 5pm that day.
