Spotlight Dubbo is celebrating the undead at a party on October 28 from 2pm. There’ll be fun activities like guessing the number of creepy critters in the cauldron.
Before October 31 hits, Spotlight is expected to sell 35,000 spiderwebs, 15,000 tubes of fake blood and 5,000 witches brooms.
Halloween has a long history. The day sprouted from an ancient Celtic tradition where people would light fires and dress in costumes to ward off ghosts. When November 1 became All Saints Day, also known as All Hallows Day, the day before it became Halloween.
