The barrier draw for the world’s richest turf race took place on Sydney harbour on Tuesday, bringing together representatives from all 12 runners that will line up in Saturday’s event.
Australian Bloodstock’s Jamie Lovett was on hand to draw the barrier on behalf of Brave Smash’s owners.
English jockey Jamie Spencer will fly in to Sydney to take the ride aboard Brave Smash, which remains a $26 chance with tab.com.au, the same price it was prior to the draw.
Race favourite She Will Reign, the $20,000 yearling which took out the Golden Slipper earlier in the year, drew perfectly in barrier two and remains a $4.60 favourite.
