THE Bathurst 1000 Saturday street fair is set to feature a host of family fun in Kings Parade.

Children’s activities will be on offer, along with food and free entertainment.
Lightning McQueen and Mack the Transporter, stars of the Disney-Pixar movie Cars, will be special guests.
A range of art, craft and giftware stalls will be set up. There will also be a petting zoo, face painting and $2 rides.
Bathurst Regional Council mayor Graeme Hanger said there was no better way to spend a Saturday than being part of this fun filled fair.
“People can wander through the food and market stalls and enjoy some great entertainment by local artists,” he said.
“The children will be able to see the new-look Lighting McQueen and Mack the Transporter will be on show, creating the perfect backdrop for a selfie.”
The street fair is on from 10am until 4pm.
Entertainment Program
- 10am – The Bootleggers
- 12noon – Honey Drippin Mudskippers
- 2pm – Smith & Jones
Street closures
Russell and Church streets will be closed between George and William streets from 5am until 10pm.
The Russell Street Taxi Rank will temporarily be relocated to George Street (between Church and Russell streets) for the Saturday closures.
