Leading sprinters from the stables of Charmaine Roberts, Paul and Pamela Braddon and John Portelli will all be among the chances in what is an open and high quality event.
Roberts’ Rodney Keeping was handed the favourable box one and despite not being at his best when racing at Bathurst last start is certain to be popular among punters.
Rodney Keeping scored back-to-back wins recently and the veteran has proved a consistent performer, having scored 22 wins and 30 placings in 79 career starts.
Next door in box two, the Braddons’ Hope’s A Chance will jump out looking to end a winless drought which stretches back to March 23.
Roberts has two chances in the $2245 event with Baracca Keeping going from box six.
Karinya Connie has proven herself a star for Portelli but she’s been below her best recently and has the tricky five box to deal with while Wellington’s Bradley O’Neil will be quietly confident of creating some noise from box eight.
O’Neil’s Myrniong Rocket has performed well at Dawson Park in the past.
Friday night’s 10 race meeting starts at 6.51pm.
