The warmer months are finally upon us and the beginning of Spring is the ideal time to discover your inner green thumb and get out in to the garden - whether you’re a seasoned gardener or absolute beginner, there really is something for everyone. Turn your garden into an edible feast with Backyard Bounty, published by Organic Gardener Magazine, which is an expert guide to growing your own organic vegetables and features advice from some of Australia’s top horticulturalists. If you need some visual inspiration, try Secret Gardens. Written by Claire Masset, it features stunning photographs of some of the world’s most beloved gardens including the National Trust’s idiosyncratic garden. For a unique perspective on the modern garden, The New Australian Garden by Michael Bates looks at landscaping gardens to turn the ordinary into an appealing destination space. If you’re on the go and don’t have time to come into the library, choose from a wide range of E-Magazines from the library website. Titles include Backyard, Better Homes and Gardens and Gardening Australia. E-Magazines can be downloaded from the brand new RB Digital app to your mobile device or tablet at any time.
