The forums will be to be held in Narrabri on September 19 and Dubbo on September 20.
Mr Coulton said on Tuesday the Narrabri forum would be from 10.30am to 1.30pm at The Crossing Theatre. Dubbo’s forum will be from 11am to 1pm at Dubbo College’s Senior Campus in lecture theatre block C.
The review, led by emeritus Professor John Halsey of Flinders University is considering the challenges, barriers and successes that impact on students’ education outcomes, including transition to further study, training and employment, he said.

Mr Coulton said Professor Halsey is keen to meet with members of the local communities who have an interest/experience in regional, rural and remote education – teachers and school staff, parents, young people, business/industry members who may be involved in VET or apprenticeship arrangements and philanthropic groups.
“This forum is an important opportunity for residents of the Electorate of Parkes to have our say on an important array of educational issues,” Mr Coulton said.
He said now the Nationals-Liberal Government had delivered a true model of needs-based funding for schools, it was determined to ensure all schools were armed with the best information to put this record funding to the most effective use possible.
Please RSVP to IRRRRESecretariat@education.gov.au by close of business, Thursday 14 September 2017. Light refreshments will be provided.
