Dubbo and District Football 2017: Macquarie United, RSL 78s to play for grand final spot

Two Dubbo teams will vie for a grand final spot on Sunday after Wellington scored a semi-final victory to advance through.

Macquarie United and RSL 78s will play the preliminary final of the Dubbo District Football Association first grade women’s competition.

Wellington Wildcats defeated Macquarie United 2-1 in the major semi on August 13.

RSL 78s dominated Dubbo Football Club to win the minor semi 6-nil and keep its finals hopes alive.

The winner of Sunday’s RSL 78s-Macquarie match-up will play Wellington in the grand final on August 27.

In the second grade preliminary, Narromine will take on South Dubbo Wanderers.

Dubbo City Rangers have the week off ahead of the grand final.
