Organisers are putting the finishing touches to Sunday’s Dubbo Bridal and Event Expo.
The 39th running of the annual fixture will once again offer fresh ideas and fun for those planning the wedding of their dreams.
Engaged couples and their supporters are being promised new concepts and a day of treats by event organiser Jan Grady.
The expo has also moved to a unique new venue, Rhino Lodge Resort Accommodation and Function Centre on Camp Road.
Ms Grady said the venue was going to look amazing.
“There’s going to be a special feature display area, which will feature fresh ideas, stylists with expert advice,” she said.
Engaged couples attending the expo will be eligible to enter the 2017 Battle of the Brides as they arrive.
Three couples will be drawn out and will compete in two challenges throughout the day.
All couples will receive a participation gift and the winning couple will receive a prize.
Wedding celebrant Margie McCumskie is set to hold a mock sand ceremony and all expo attendees are invited to attend as guests.
Jeweller Samantha Kelly was also going to launch her new collection on the day, which can be hired by couples.
Anticipation would build for the bridal parade.
It would showcase the latest in bridal party wear, hairstyles, and makeup.
“People love watching the parade,” Ms Grady said.
Florist Irissa Knight will return to this year’s expo, showing off displays of overhead flowers and foliage at the venue.
“It will be a real wedding planning day out, with delicious wood-fired pizza,” Ms Grady said.
“Eat, drink and be merry, starting with a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival, courtesy of Angullong Vineyard at Orange.”
Every ticket holder will go into the lucky door prize draw, sponsored by Parklands Resort, Mudgee.
The expo will take place from 10am to 3pm on Sunday.
People can pre-register on the expo website, allowing them to use the express entry lane, or they can purchase their tickets on the day.
