Team Dunlop, comprising Charlie Whiteley, Richard Clarke, Jonathon Blizzard and David Poole, were consistent performers throughout the competition, remaining undefeated throughout 10 rounds to take out the title.
Despite being undefeated going into the final round, team Slazenger, which comprised Nathan Astri, Wendy Cox, James Collett and Melinda Collett, were only one point behind as their only defeat came at the hands of team Dunlop when they clashed earlier in the competition.
However despite the pressure, team Dunlop managed to get the job done which was pleasing for Whiteley.
"It's always great to win a competition and to go through undefeated makes it that bit more special," he said.
"More importantly we all had a great time on court and there was a great atmosphere amongst all teams throughout the whole competition.
“With each team having players ranked from one to four, you play against equal opposition each week which makes it enjoyable and also challenging.”
Last month, the Paramount Tennis Club's Fast4 competition concluded with Jamie McGaw, Graeme Wallace, Max Ramien and Reuben Efoti taking the competition out from Dave Walker, Lauren Day, Ashley Gannon and Gerard Cahill who were runners up.
All attention at the Paramount Tennis Club now turns to their upcoming spring competitions.
The club will have three competitions run from September to the end of the year, with A grade being played on Monday, B grade on Wednesday and C grade on Thursday.
All competitions are mixed and all abilities are suited as per grading above.
Players keen to take part are asked to register by this Sunday, with teams to be chosen next week.
Players can register on the sheets provided on the notice board in the clubhouse, by emailing paramounttennis@live.com.au or contacting Charlie Whiteley on 0417 026 164.
