The Dubbo branch celebrated its first birthday on Friday with cupcakes, balloons and friends.
Since being a part of the Dubbo community, the bank has become a fixture of the City.
In 12 months Dubbo Newcastle Permanent has donated $12,600 to a range of local groups through its Introducer Program.
It has also hosted the Cinema Under the Stars event and helped educational initiatives like the Primary School Mathematics Competition.
Dubbo headspace and Damien Porter from CYMS, were at the birthday party as they each received cheques of $600 through the Introducer Program.
This is the second time each organisation has been presented a cheque and the money will go towards the CYMS Ryan Medley Appeal and headspace’s clinical practices and community engagement.
Dubbo Newcastle Permanent branch lending manager Vanessa Muddiman said she overwhelmed with pride.
“Without the team we couldn’t have achieved what we’ve done and I couldn’t be more prouder of them all,” she said.
Newcastle Permanant CEO Terry Millet congratulated the bank’s achievement.
“We’re really proud of our Dubbo branch and I applaud Vanessa, Sam, Faye, Nikki, Leanna and Linda on making themselves and Newcastle Permanent such a well respected member of the Dubbo community,” he said.
