Paris Underground Encore will hit the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre on August 26.
The sophisticated and edgy show came to Dubbo in 2015, but producer Richard Vegas said audiences would still be trilled by the encore performance.
“The show is more polished than when we were first in Dubbo. I’ve sharpened up my character, there are some amazing acts in the show – not that there wasn’t before – but we’ve upped the ante,” Mr Vegas said.
“The heart of the show is still the same, but there’s a lot of extras, and extra performers as well.”
Added to the Paris Underground family is Bathurst circus specialist Mark Graham.
Mr Graham will join the magic of Mr Vegas and his wife Julia Madotti, aerialist Hannah Trott, tap dancer Eden Read, chanteuse Aurora Kurth and burlesque artiste Kelly Ann Doll.
Everywhere the show has toured it’s either been at capacity or sold out, Mr Vegas said. The producer said one of the key reasons was because Paris Underground delivered on its promises.
“The image that we put out there, which is just my face and my wife’s face with the Eiffel Tower in between, completely captures what’s in the show. The show meets everyone’s expectations,” he said.
It was also different from “ a regular theatre company putting on a Shakespeare play”, Mr Vegas said, and not something usually seen in regional areas.
Despite this being an encore performance for Dubbo, audiences who had seen the original show would not be disappointed, he said.
